Peace Be Still

.

The Annual Peace Be Still Prayer Vigil

The ”Peace Be Still” prayer vigil brings together our local law enforcement agencies and first responders for a moment of peace, unity, and acknowledgement of those who have lost there lives in the line of duty while protecting their departments, community, and family. Each agency, community leaders, and supporters share the responsibility to keep our State unified in spirit by upholding the attributes that make us all heroes, leaders, role models, and supporters. We can not do it by ourselves, but together, we all can make a difference. Through the “Commitment to Unity Torch,” each agency upholds a specific attribute for one year, and then they pass the torch to another agency, for the following year. In doing so, we are all connected and are able to share a unified role in the bigger picture: the welfare and safety of our residents and visitors.  VEGAS STRONG is not just a slogan, it is a way of life.
